JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo ensured that West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) would remain the host of the 2028 National Sports Week (PON).

Dito conveyed this after seeing the regional success holding the VIII 2025 National Community Sports Festival (Fornas) which took place on July 26-1 August 2025.

"God willing, PON 2028 will remain in West Nusa Tenggara. We will support facilities and others," said Dito in his remarks at the closing ceremony of Fornas VIII on Friday, August 1, 2025 night.
