Official! Emil Audero Will Be Arungi Series A With Cremonese

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team player, Emil Audero, will officially enter the Serie A competition for the 2025/2026 season. This was confirmed after he joined Cremonese on loan.

The news of Audero's closeness to the newly promoted club from Serie B was announced on the club's official website and social media Cremonese. In a statement written, the Indonesian goalkeeper was borrowed for one season with the option of a permanent purchase.

"Cremonese announced it had obtained Emil Audero from Como 1907 for the time being with the purchase option," Cremonese said in an official statement quoted on Sunday, July 27.

The news of Emil Audero's joining with Cremonese was also announced by Como. The club owned by an Indonesian businessman wishes Emil the best during his loan period at the club that had just been promoted to Serie A.

"Como 1907 announced that Emil Audero has joined Cremonese on loan until the end of the season. Como 1907 wishes him all the best in the coming season."

With this news, it is certain that Audero will return to Italy's highest caste competition, Serie A. Since the middle of last season, Audero has played in Serie B with Palermo because he was loaned out by Como.

Cremonese was promoted to Serie A after ranking fourth in Serie B last season, then winning the playoffs against Spezia.

Emil Audero is an experienced goalkeeper in Serie A. The naturalized goalkeeper of the Indonesian national team has appeared in 176 matches in Serie A.

Returning to play in Serie A will add a portfolio of Emil Audero in competing with Maarten Paes in the Indonesian national team which will appear in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification, next October.
