JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali received an audience from the Higher Education Council of the Alumni Corps of the Islamic Student Association (KAHMI). KAHMI reported the establishment of Universitas Insan Cita Indonesia (UICI).

Minister Amali welcomed and supported the presence of this digital-based educational institution. The presence of UICI is said to enrich the innovation of higher education in the country. Minister Amali assessed that the university could reach the wider community. So, in the future, it can produce the best graduates.

"Apart from that, it is very effective and hopefully it can produce the best graduates. We support this digital learning activity", he explained.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of KAHMI Higher Education Council, Subandriyo said Universitas Insan Cita Indonesia has now obtained principle and operational permits in December 2020.

He explained that the university would later collaborate with digital universities from abroad.

"In the future, people will be able to obtain lectures with good and good quality standards. We will cooperate with foreign universities later", he said.

Subandriyo hopes that KAHMI can continue to make a real contribution in the midst of society. "KAHMI will continue to contribute to the acceleration of human resource development through learning that can reach all over the country with low cost and good quality. In July UICI will be launched, and the public can access it", he concluded.
