Patrick Kluivert Watches 2025 IBL Final Between Pelita Jaya Vs Dewa United

JAKARTA The coach of the Indonesian national team, Patrick Kluivert, in the midst of his busy schedule, took the time to watch the second game of the 2025 Indonesia Basketball League (IBL) final between Pelita Jaya Jakarta and Dewa United Banten.

The Dutch tactician arrived at the location of the match at GOR Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Saturday, July 19, 2025 night, moments before tip-off.

Kluivert is seen wearing the dominant black outfit and accompanied by his assistant Alex Pastor. Both came to be greeted by the Secretary General of the DPP Perbasi, Nirmala Dew,i and IBL Director Junas Miradiarsyah.

They took a seat on the VIP chair on the west side of the tribune and sat side by side with Nirmala. On the sidelines of the match, Kluivert was also seen holding an interview with IBL.

Patrick Kluivert came to Jakarta after attending the draw for the fourth round of the Asian zone 2026 World Cup Qualification event at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday, July 17 yesterday.

The draw itself places the Indonesian national team in Group B together with Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The squad made by Kluiver must win the group if they want to qualify for the 2026 World Cup from this stage.

Previously, Kluivert was also present with Pastor to monitor the U-23 Indonesian national team match against the Philippines in the AFF U-23 event at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on Friday, July 18 evening.

Pelita Jaya previously won in the first game which took place at Dewa United's headquarters on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Pelita Jaya is the defending champion of IBL.

If they win against Dewa United in the second game of the final, they will defend the title. However, if the opposite happens, there will be a third game on Sunday tomorrow.
