Czech MotoGP FP2 Results 2025: Marquez Takes Note Of The Fastest Time

JAKARTA Marc Marquez managed to become the fastest in the second free practice (FP2) of the Czech 2025 Grand Prix MotoGP which took place at the Brno Circuit on Saturday, July 19.

The rider who defended the Ducati Lenovo team recorded the best time of one minute 53.145 seconds. He is ahead of Prima Pramac Racing driver, Jack Miller, in second place.

Meanwhile, in third place is occupied by Pertamina Enduro VR46's racer, Fabio at Giannantonio. Continuously completing the top five positions are Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) and Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM).

Then the sixth position was occupied by Fabio Quartararo, then Pedrodeca, Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, and Joan Mir complete the top ten of the second free practice.

Fabio Quartararo made a surprise when the second free practice session was only five minutes away. The rider who defended Yamaha Monster Energy had a chance to lead with a record of 1 minute 54.300 seconds.

However, the French racer did not last long in his position because Marquez heated up in the middle of the session with a time of one minute 53.752 seconds, then sharpened it to one minute 53.724 seconds, and finally became the fastest.

This result makes Marquez, who currently leads the standings, a favorite in the Czechs. He previously also managed to become the fastest in the first free practice and practice on Friday.

After this there is a qualifying session and a sprint race. The Czech MotoGP 2025 race will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 19.00 WIB.

Marquez temporarily sits comfortably at the top of the standings with 344 points. He is 83 points ahead of his younger brother, Alex Marquez, who is in second place.
