Garmin Run Comes Again: Save The Date, Category, And Ticket Prices!

Garmin Indonesia officially announced the return of the Garmin Run 2025 on September 14, 2025 at the BSD ICE Hall Parking Area, Tangerang. This agenda is a series of Garmin Run Asia Series which takes place in 10 Asian countries including China Taipei, Singapore, to Japan.

At this event, Garmin Run carries the theme 'From Zero to Hero' Garmin Run 2025 which invites the public to prioritize a healthy lifestyle through running.

Garmin Run Indonesia also affirms its commitment to supporting inclusiveness and sustainability through various collaborations.

Through this agenda, Garmin Run Indonesia invites thousands of runners from various circles to participate in the 5K, 10K, 21K, Kids Dash, and Sub-Category ASICS Community Rank categories to encourage the spirit of running with the community.

"Garmin believes that every big change always starts from small steps. Through 2025 Garmin Run Indonesia which brings an inclusive and sustainable spirit, we believe every runner can achieve his dream through Garmin's passion, perseverance, and technology support," said Sky Chen, Regional Director of Garmin Southeast Asia in an official statement quoted Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

"At the running event that supports sustainability, Garmin invites runners to make running spirit a real step for a better environment," he said.

After successfully presenting more than 7,000 participants in the previous year, Garmin again showed that sports could run in harmony with their concern for the environment.

In the 2024 edition, there were 983 kg of waste collected. Then, thanks to effective management, 62 percent were prevented from ending up in the TPA.

As part of a sustainable approach, Garmin again cooperates with Waste.id as a sustainability partner. This collaboration includes waste management during events, education about waste reduction, and invitations to participants to participate in plogging and e-waste collection activities.

"Our collaboration with Garmin Run Indonesia 2025 is proof that large-scale sporting events can have a positive impact on the environment," said Joseph Heru Sanjaya, CEO and Founder of Waste.id.

In addition, some of the proceeds from ticket sales will be distributed to mangrove planting programs in various strategic areas of Indonesia.

Garmin also implemented a zero plastic packaging policy on all its products sold in Indonesia, as a concrete step to reduce carbon footprint.

Not only about caring about the environment, Garmin Run Indonesia was also present as a community meeting event from various backgrounds.

The Teman Deaf community was again involved to ensure that all participants felt accepted, supported, and had the same running experience.

"Since I first joined Garmin Run two years ago, I feel accepted and appreciated. This is not just a running competition, but also a place to meet mutually strengthening communities," said Ricendy, a member of the Teman Tuli community as well as part of the Garmin Run Club.
