Kemenpora Disburses IDR 210 Billion For NPC Indonesia And 15 Sports

The signing of the second phase of cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and sports (VOI/Cosmas Kopong Beda).

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) officially distributed the second phase of funds worth IDR 210 billion for the National Paralympic Committee of Indomesia (NPC Indonesia) and 15 sports (sports).

The signing of the cooperation agreement (PKS) between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the parent of sports and the Indonesian NPC was carried out at the Kemenpora Office, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, afternoon WIB.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, said that these funds were disbursed for sports that will appear at the 2025 SEA Games and the potential for the 2026 Asian Games.

"I entrust the funds that have been given. This signature means that the funds are in the hands of Mr/Mrs. and the full responsibility is in Mr/Mrs", said Dito in his remarks.

The parent sports that receive the second phase of these funds are taekwondo (PB TI), karate (PB FORKI), wushu (PB WI), tennis (PP Pelti), volleyball (PP PBVSI), rowing (PB PODSI), triathlon (PP FTI), and pencak silat (PB IPSI).

In addition, there are also hockey (PB FHI), kick boxing (PP KBI), cricket (PP PCI), rollerblading (PB Perserosi), wrestling (PB PGSI), esports (PB ESI), and the last one is basketball (DPP Perbasi).

Dito reminded that all sports parents must maintain transparency and accountability in managing the funds provided because there will definitely be sanctions if not handled properly.

"I feel that in times like now, transparency and accountability are very easy to maintain because the amount and program is announced. So, all people can see," said Dito.

The government is noted to have disbursed a total fund of IDR 630 billion to support training programs and improvements in national sports achievements in 2025.

Previously, the Ministry of Youth and Sports had disbursed IDR 420 billion in the first phase to support the training camp for 13 sports and for the implementation of the 2025 Rock Climbing World Championship and the World Surf League (WSL).
