Tottenham Vs Nottingham Preview: Kandang Match Not Guarantee Will Be Easy

Even though it was held at home, this did not guarantee that The Lilywhites would easily undergo the match. The reason is, in this clash, the two teams have different missions in their full three points.

Nottingham, who is a guest team, is trying to find a distance to finish in the Champions League zone. Nottingham is currently stuck in sixth place with a collection of 57 points.

Nottingham's achievement is actually the same as Chelsea's collection of points in the top five who lead the goal difference. The Blues are confirmed to have secured a ticket to the Champions League.

On the other hand, the host Tottenham is pursuing a positive moment to boost confidence ahead of the 2024/2025 Europa League semifinals.

Another reason, Spurs have not performed well enough this season, especially in the Premier League.

The hosts are currently in 16th position with 37 points after passing 32 matches. The position wants to be passed by Spurs in order to end the season safely and unrelegated.

Coach Ange Postecoglou was also dizzy by this condition, especially regarding player rotation. He has to be careful because improper substitutions can have a negative impact on team performance on the field.

Even though the road is difficult, Spurs still want to end the season brilliantly.

They want to keep picking the full three points and move up a few places in the standings to make sure they don't relegate.
