JAKARTA The HydroPlus Strikers (U-14) and MilkLife Shakers (U-12) teams, consisting of the players who graduated from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge 2024, compactly secured the runner-up position in their debut appearance at the Junior Soccer School and League (JSSL) Singapore 7's 2025.
Both teams lost against the home team in the final match which took place at The Arena Singapore on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The hydroplus was beaten by Lion City Sailors 0-2, while MilkLife lost 0-1 against NDC A.
The MilkLife Soccer Challenge Director's program, Teddy Tjahjono, said he was happy with the achievements of these two teams. He appreciated their trip to the final match even though they came to bring their debutant status.
"Even though we haven't won yet, for us the achievements of both teams are quite good. Moreover, the main goal is to dispatch HydroPlus Strikers and MilkLifeShakers to international tournaments to measure their ability to what extent," said Teddy.

In the qualifying round, HydroPlus Strikers were in second place in the final standings with 21 points, scoring 18 goals, and conceding only two goals. Of the nine matches they have won six times and three draws.
On the other hand, MilkLife Shakers is at the top of Group A U-12 after winning all seven matches played. Unmitigated, they produced 28 goals and never conceded at all.
Head Coach of HydroPlus Strikers and MilkLifeShakers, Timo Scheunemann, asked players not to be complacent with this achievement. He is also optimistic that in the future the achievements of the players who graduated from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge can develop more.
"The HydroPlus Strikers and MilkLife Shakers teams can actually play better than they showed during the tournament, but we are still proud because their mentality as athletes has begun to form," said Timo.
After the match, the HydroPlus Strikers and MilkLife Shakers were given free time to trace several Singapore icons. They were accompanied by coaches to visit Marina Baytuy, Shacor Park, and Universal Studios Singapore.
