Swiss Open 2025: Indonesia Sends 7 Representatives

JAKARTA Indonesia sent seven representatives, without the men's singles sector, to the Swiss Open 2025 which will take place this week.

The Super 300 BWF level tournament will start on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, until Sunday, March 23, 2025, in St. Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland.

The women's singles number only sent one representative, namely Putri Kusuma Wardani. The 22-year-old badminton player just made his debut at All England last week.

His journey in the world's oldest badminton event ran aground in the second half after losing to the former world number one from China, Chen Yufei, in a rubber game duel.

Men's doubles will be the sector with the most representatives in Switzerland. This number decreased by three pairs, including runners-up for All England 2025, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana.

The other two men's doubles pairs are Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin and Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

Then in the women's doubles number, the two pairs sent were Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi.

Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti will also play in the mixed doubles sector. In that number, he took part with Dejan Ferdinandsyah.
