Sah! Emil Audero, Joey Pelupessy, And Dean James With Indonesian Status

Emil Audero, Joey Pelupessy, and Dean James have completed naturalization in Rome (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - Three players of descent, namely Emil Audero, Joey Pelupessy, and Dean James are officially Indonesian citizens (WNI). This was confirmed after the three officially carried out the oath of Indonesian citizens at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Rome on Monday, March 10, 202, evening WIB.

Appearing compact in a black suit wearing a cap, Emil, Joey, and Dean have completed the process of saying the promise of loyalty as an Indonesian citizen.

Along with this oath-taking process, the three of them are also confirmed to have made Indonesian Identity Cards (KTP) and passports. Furthermore, the three of them only need to carry out the federation transfer process in order to strengthen the Indonesian national team.

Even though they have officially assumed the status of Indonesian citizens, these three players have not yet been involved in the provisional squad list of the Indonesian national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualification continued match.

The reason is that the status of the three federations has not changed, while the deadline for player registration falls on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Patrick Kluivert as the new coach of the Indonesian national team previously included 27 names of players on the temporary list for the Garuda Squad on March 8, 2025.
