Menpora Amali Hopes That The Final Match Between Persija And Persib Will Provide Quality And Entertaining Shows

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali is excited to welcome the 2021 Menpora Cup final. The final will bring together Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung on April 22.

Menpora hopes that the two teams can compete to show the quality of the game and entertain the audience at home. Moreover, Indonesian football lovers have not seen an official national football match for one year.

"My hope is that the teams that will compete can present a quality match as well as entertaining. Give the audience the best game because they haven't watched the match (official, red) for a long time because of the pandemic, ”said Menpora Amali in a written statement, Wednesday, April 21.

The hope of the Menpora Amali is also in line with the not allowing supporters to watch live at the stadium. Menpora asked the leadership of supporters from each club to take an active role in encouraging supporters to watch the 2021 Menpora Cup final at home so as not to create a crowd at the match venue.

"In the rest of the match (Menpora Cup, red), especially for the supporters to keep watching from home. I ask that this maintained discipline be maintained, "said Menpora Amali.

"Please if someone tries to crowd and want to watch together, please immediately prevented by the leadership of the supporters," said the Menpora.

Menpora Amali also appreciated the ranks of PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) for their good work. As well as high respect to all stakeholders involved in organizing this tournament.

The Menpora also hopes that the success of the Menpora Cup in implementing health protocols can also be continued for League 1 and League 2.

"With the smooth and orderly implementation of the Menpora Cup, we hope that the permission to roll out the League 1 and League 2 competitions can be obtained," said Menpora Amali.

Meanwhile, PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan also has the same expectations as Menpora. He said that so far the match had gone according to plan and the implementation of health protocols had continued to be implemented.
