Two Targets Gloria/Rehan In 2025

Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto / Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja has a target in 2025 as a new partner (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Mixed doubles pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja is aiming for two targets in this year's calendar after being paired by PB Djarum.

Gloria said that she and Rehan did not have a high target in this year's calendar, except hoping to appear at the Indonesia Open 2025 in June 2025 and the World Tour Finals 2025 by the end of the year.

"The big target for the following year is to play at the World Championships," Gloria said after receiving appreciation from PB Djarum at the Oakwood Hotel, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Rehan/Gloria have only been paired since the beginning of this year. They also just followed the BWF World Tour Finals agenda, namely Thailand Masters 2025 last week.

In the Super 300 BWF event, their journey ran aground in the second half. They returned from the tournament after losing against the new pair Pelatnas, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Dejan was Gloria's previous partner in the mixed doubles. However, Dejan is now withdrawn by PBSI after being with Gloria reaching eighth in the world as of December 31, 2024.

Gloria said that having to start a new journey with Rehan was actually beyond her expectations. However, Rehan's experience was enough to help him on the pitch.

"Rehan and Dejan's experience is different. From the beginning, Dejan was a member of the club and struggled to go global. Meanwhile, Rehan already had experience so I didn't start again from scratch," Gloria said.

Gloria/Rehan further plan to appear at the 2025 German Open (February 25 to March 2, 2025), Orleans Masters 2025 (March 4-9, 2025) and the oldest event in the world of All England (11-16 March 2025).
