Vinicius Junior Wants To Focus On Real Madrid Amid Rumors Of Transfer To Saudi Arabia

Vinicius Junior does not want to respond to the interest of the Saudi Arabian Pro League (Instagram/@realmadrid) club.

JAKARTA - Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior said he was focused on continuing to develop and help Los Blancos despite interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

Vinicius scored two goals in a 5-1 win over RB Salzburg in Bernabeu on Thursday, January 23, 2025, early morning WIB.

The additional coffers of the goal made him have scored seven goals in six appearances in the Champions League this season.

Last week the Saudi Arabian Pro League was still interested in recruiting the Brazil international and had contacted its representative last month.

Representatives of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), which controls the top four clubs of the Saudi Arabian Pro League, contacted Vinicius' representatives again in December 2024 to confirm that their interest is still active.

Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe recruitment raises some speculation that Vinicius - who also prefers the role of left-hand striker - may no longer be needed on the Bernabeu.

However, over time, it was the collaboration between Mbappe and Vinicius, plus Rodrygo, which is supported by Jude Bellingham to become the most dangerous attacking sector today.

Vinicius also emphasized that the success of Mbappe adapting Real Madrid has a scary attack line.
