Olmo's Story Can Affect Barcelona's Transfers In The Future

JAKARTA - Barcelona striker Raphinha is worried that the problems that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor will influence the recruitment of players in the future.

Olmo and Victor's registration has been rejected by La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) as Barcelona passed the December 31 deadline 2024 to prove they comply with league Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

La Liga and RFEF also argued that the same players could not be registered for the second time for the same season, according to federation regulations.

Barcelona also filed an appeal against the Spanish Supreme Sports Court (CSD). In the end, Olmo and Victor could temporarily still be registered as Barcelona players after CSD's decision allowed it.

However, the CSD decision is not final. CSD took approximately three months to analyze the case until it finally issued the final decision.

As long as CSD is still processing the case, Olmo and Victor can defend the Blaugrana. The decision led to many cons from a number of La Liga clubs, including La Liga, who will file an appeal.

"I think it could happen (influence the next Barcelona transfer). I can't say the other way around because I'm going to lie and it's not me."
