Megawati Hanggetri Becomes The Best Player In The Third Round Of The Korean Volleyball

Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi became the best player in the third round of the South Korean Volleyball League (Instagram/@red_sparks).

JAKARTA The mainstay Indonesian volleyball player, Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi, was named the Best Player in the third round of the South Korean Volleyball season 2024/2025.

The South Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) informed Megawati as the best player through a statement on Instagram social media on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

"Best Player Round 3," wrote KOVO in a statement to accompany the upload of the photo of the Jember volleyball player.

Megawati has interesting statistics throughout the third round of the South Korean volleyball league's highest level. The 25-year-old has scored a total of 155 points.

Before getting the title of Player of the Year in the third round, he first brought Redmen to win 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-21) over IBK Altos on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

In that match, Megawati scored 18 points. That number is the highest compared to the other players in the match.

This is the eighth consecutive victory secured by Redmen. They are now in third place in the standings with 34 points.

Coach Ko Hee-jin's team are currently only seven points away from Hillstate who are in second place.

Meanwhile, the top position of the standings is still occupied by Pink Spiders with 43 points, who returned to winning ways in the latest game after three consecutive defeats.
