JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) president Nasser Al Khelaifi has communicated with agent Mohamed Salah, Ramy Abbas, regarding the future of the Egyptian winger.
The 32-year-old forward will expire his contract at Liverpool this summer. He recently said he had not received an offer for an official extension contract from the club, adding that more came out than came in.
Salah has enjoyed an impressive season. He scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
Recently, Liverpool beat arch rivals Manchester City with a 2-0 win on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Salah scored the second goal with a penalty in the 78th minute.
The victory put Liverpool nine points ahead at the top of the Premier League standings.
After that victory, Salah returned to talk about his future uncertainty for the second time in eight days.
"To be honest, it's in my mind. Until now, this is the last Manchester City game I will play for Liverpool."
"So, I'm just going to enjoy it. The atmosphere is incredible. So, I'll enjoy every second here. Hopefully we win the league and see what happens," Salah told Sky Sports.

ESPN sources said Salah's priority was to stay at Liverpool, where he arrived from Rome in 2017.
However, so far there has been no new agreement, meaning it has been contacted by other clubs.
PSG had long admired Salah and tried to sign him several times before, but it didn't work.
The Paris club has started a new era under Luis Enrique with potential young players, but lacks experience.
So far, they have failed to increase their wing options after recently losing targets, such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) from Napoli, Jadon Sancho (24) from Manchester United, and Nico Williams (22) from Athletic Bilbao.
No wonder Salah is now the main target. The Egyptian star and his family also like the City of Paris and the project at the Parc des Princes could appeal to him.
Financially, PSG can easily pay Salah's current salary (about 400,000 pounds a week) and offer him substantial signing fees.
Salah signed his last contract with Liverpool, which made him the highest-paid player at the club, in June 2022.
Currently, he will be free to talk to clubs outside the UK about free transfers next summer when the winter transfer window opens on January 1, 2025.
The source told ESPN that PSG knew there was still a long way to go. JLiverpool doesn't offer Salah a new contract, they will become strong competitors.
One is one of three Liverpool players whose current contract expires at the end of the season. The other two pillar names are captain Virgil van Dijk and deputy captain Trent Alexander-Arnold who will also expire his contract next summer.
