David Beckham And Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid Workshop Will Sell Hard In Auction

JAKARTA - The Real Madrid Workshop owned by David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo will sell well in historic auctions.

The lockers were moved from the Santiago Bernabeu after being renovated on a large scale.

The lockers used by players, such as David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, will be auctioned off this month.

The Workshops that were auctioned were used by Real Madrid between 2002 and 2022. The lockers had to be moved during the massive renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu which made the iconic stadium capacity 85,000.

A total of 24 lockers were displayed at Sotheby's in London on Thursday, November 21, 2024, local time.

The offer will open until November 26, 2024, with prices ranging from 10,000 pounds for each locker.

Apart from Beckham and Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos, and Luka Modric's lockers are also available.

Meanwhile, fans of the Galacticos era can also bid for the lockers previously owned by Zinedine Zidane and Luis Figo.

Part of the revenue earned will be donated to the Real Madrid charitable foundation.

Sotheby's teamed up with Pursuit 3 Marketing Group in the auction. Pursuit 3 is a partner of Real Madrid's memorabilia.

After the renovation, Bernabeu now has a large 360-degree display that wraps the top.

Now there are roofs that can open and close stadiums, as well as outdoor facilities that are redesigned.

Real Madrid has also built a new luxury VIP Sky Bar, a 700 square meter space designed by Room 1804.

Tickets for the exclusive bar are reported to cost up to 2,500 per game, but have yet to open.

The VIP Sky Bar is designed to be a very exclusive place and can be a place for DJs (disc jockeys) because it can turn into a nightclub after the final whistle sounded.

The problem, according to El Confidential, Anastasia Gourmet has sued the 15-time European champion with a lawsuit worth 13.8 million pounds for not being able to use the luxury spot.

The report claims Anastasia Gourmet has been blocked from accessing Real Madrid's new venue, leading to heavy losses from expected revenue.

For information, Anastasia Gourmet is a company Real Madrid has contracted to manage the Sky Bar at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the hotel area has not yet been opened.

In documents supporting their case, the company claims that it has been denied access to Sky Bar since September 2024 and has only been allowed in for maintenance reasons.

They claim Real Madrid have ended a "rental agreement" and want the place to be handed over by Anastasia Gourmet for free.

The company has debts to settle, particularly with suppliers, including beverage brands Schwepes and Heineken.

They can be declared bankrupt if they cannot regain at least part of the 6 million pounds that have been invested in the venue.

Until now, Real Madrid has not publicly commented on the legal process.
