JAKARTA - Antonio Conte says Inter Milan are getting used to the pressure that comes with leading the hunt for the Italian League title this season.

Inter restored their 11-point lead at the top of the table over nearest rivals AC Milan after beating Cagliari 1-0 at Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday night.

"I have to stress that the remaining matches are getting fewer and now it doesn't feel like a win is worth six points. AC Milan won yesterday and it is important for us to keep the lead," Conte said after the match in a report by Antara from Inter's official website.

'It's not easy to always be under pressure, but now we're getting used to it. For some young players it's a new situation, but it shows our rapid development in the last two years," he added.

The current standings situation means Inter need just five more wins -- assuming rival teams always win -- to lock up the title this season.

However, Conte admitted he did not want to get caught up in such calculations and concentrated more on continuing to win every remaining game.

"We just have to keep playing for the win, keep pedaling as fast as we can. We shouldn't be stuck with the calculations now," he said.

"I try to instill that philosophy in the players. That we are close to the final goal, but we have not achieved it," Conte added.

With 74 points to go at the moment, Inter are just seven points adrift of their achievements last season and Conte insists that his players have been showered with praise for the Nerazzurri's hard work so far.

"Last season we finished with 81 points and appeared in the Europa League final. But obviously there are a lot of things that can be improved, and the players are aware of that," Conte said.

"It's just that we're starting to see the right mentality and fighting power of this team, and the players deserve full credit for it all, because they believe so much in this hard work," he said.

Inter will face their next challenge in Sunday's match on 18 April when they visit Diego Armando Maradona's Stadium against Napoli.
