JAKARTA The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) in collaboration with 3Second officially launched the 2024 3Second Futsal Super Cup competition.

The launch event was held at the MNC Conference Hall, Jakarta, on Friday, November 15 yesterday. This competition will be attended by the eight best futsal teams in Indonesia.

Chairman of the Indonesian Futsal Federation Michael V. Sianipar appreciated this cooperation in an effort to encourage futsal developments in Indonesia.

"This collaboration not only encourages futsal popularity in Indonesia, but also provides innovations that bring Indonesian futsal to a higher level," he said.

The eight teams that played in the 3Second Futsal Super Cup 2024 event were the best teams from last season's rankings. They will compete in a knockout system that includes the quarter-finals, semifinals, and finals.

The winner in the final round will win the title and get a prize of Rp. 30 million. Followed by the runner-up team with Rp. 20 million and the third-ranked team bringing home Rp. 10 million.

In addition, all contestant teams will also receive participation fees and costs per match.

Marketing Manager 3Second Hendri Sase said that his party was very happy to be involved in events like this. He emphasized that this is their opportunity to contribute to Indonesian futsal.

"This is an extraordinary moment for us to advance futsal in Indonesia, sports that have high participation in society, and encourage the younger generation to live an active and healthy life," he said.

The 3Second Futsal Super Cup 2024 will become a platform for young athletes to show their potential and at the same time inspire more people to be involved in futsal sports.

This moment coincided with the Indonesian Futsal National Team which had just come out as champions in the 2024 AFF Futsal Cup after winning over Vietnam in the final match.

It was Indonesia's second title in the event. One previous title was won more than a decade ago, but in 2010.
