JAKARTA Indonesia sent as many as 16 representatives who will play at the 2024 Japanese Kumamoto Masters this week.
The event, which has only started in 2023 with the Super 500 BWF level, will take place on 12-17 November 2024 at the Kumamoto Predictural Gymnasium, Kumamoto, Japan.
In the first edition of last year, Indonesia successfully brought home one title through its flagship women's singles badminton player, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.
Gregoria, who was previously injured at the Denmark Open 2024, is now fit. He is on the list so he has the opportunity to keep his title open this year.
From the names released this year, only one of them will start the struggle from the qualifying round, namely the men's singles Alwi Farhan.
Women's singles, men's singles, mixed doubles, and women's doubles each have three representatives who will play. The men's doubles also sent the most representatives, namely four pairs.
