Korean Masters 2024 Results: Dejan/Gloria Win Runner Up Title, China's Representative Champion

JAKARTA - The Korean Masters 2024 final in the mixed doubles is completed. Indonesian representative Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja won the runner-up title.

This result must be accepted by Dejan/Gloria after completing the match against Chinese representatives, Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui.

In the deciding party which took place at Iksan Gymnasium, Iksan, South Korea on Sunday, November 10, the final score showed the numbers 21-10 and 21-12 for the victory of the Chinese representatives.

Asa Dejan/Gloria to become the top champion after they fell in two flash games which lasted 31 minutes. Whereas in the early appearance Dejan/Gloria were able to show dominance with a 5-5 draw.

However, after that, the runner-up pair from the Macau Open 2024 was actually carried away by the pattern of the opponent's game. Guo/Chen forced a drive battle that made Dejan/Gloria dissolve in short and flat balls without wanting to open the defense.

As a result, Dejan/Gloria often lose their moments and are really driven by opponents to trail 10-18. The first game ended without more resistance with a landslide score of 10-21.

Entering the second game, Dejan/Gloria had opened hopes. They played more tactically and intelligently placing the shuttlecock.
