JAKARTA - Chelsea midfielder Jorginho insists his team are not looking forward to the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Porto, despite bagging a 2-0 win at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan in Sevilla, Spain, Wednesday local time (Thursday WIB).

Reported by Antara on Thursday, 8 April, Jorginho was named player of the match after creating an assist for Chelsea's opening goal scored by Mason Mount in the 32nd minute.

"He is in a good position. Mount always put himself in a good position, I saw the gap and sent the right pass and he greeted him with the right reaction to score," Jorginho told UEFA's official website after the match.

Despite winning the first leg by conceding two away goals, Jorginho insists his team should not be lulled into having the advantage because it could provoke unwanted mistakes.

"We're all happy with this result, but we can't play for the second game," he said.

"We should not think it has any advantages, because it can lead to mistakes. We have to stay calm and focused," Jorginho added.

On the other hand, the result maintains Chelsea's record of three consecutive Champions League games, an improvement from last weekend's 2-5 defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

"That's something that's quite important. The feeling after conceding five goals is unpleasant. Pain. But that's a lesson," he said.

"We realize that, it is important for us to rally the defense and not concede, because it opens the opportunity to launch attacks better," said Jorginho.

The second leg of the quarter-finals is so far scheduled to take place at the same stadium as it relates to the COVID-19 protocol rules, on Tuesday, April 13 next week.
