Successfully Held, Mandiri Media Cup 2024 Born SCTV As Another Champion

SCTV came out as the champion of the 2024 Mandiri Media Cup (doc. PSSI Pers).

JAKARTA - The intermediate soccer tournament with the idea of PSSI Pers, Mandiri Media Cup 2024, was successfully held. The Deputy Emtek Group, SCTV, again won the trophy which they also brought home in the previous edition.

SCTV successfully defended the media Cup title after defeating Kompas TV 2-0 in the final which was held at ASIOP Stadium, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, WIB night. Two SCTV goals were bought up by Alfi.

Before the final round took place, a Charity Match was also held between Indonesia Legend, Nendia, and Seejontor FC. The agenda aims to raise donations for the late Rudy Keltjes, an Indonesian football legend.

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that this year's Media Cup event was successfully held. This is thanks to the cooperation of many parties, apart from the PSSI Pers management, sponsors, official partners, and donors," said the chairman of the 2024 Mandiri Media Cup committee, Azis Arriadh.

In addition to Bank Mandiri, which is the main sponsor, the third edition of the Media Cup was also held thanks to support from a number of parties, such as Erspo, PSBS Biak, Persibo Bojonegoro, ASIOP Stadium, Specs, NOC Indonesia, Partners of Orphys Sports Clinic, and Pospay. Then, PSSI, PT Liga Indonesia Baru, and Kemenpora.

The success of PSSI Pers in organizing the 2024 Mandiri Media Cup was also appreciated by Arya Sinulingga. He even hopes that the tournament, which involves 16 television and online media, can develop into a competition.

"These are media companies, yes, competing. This is part of the socialization of football in Indonesia."

"We are very grateful to PSSI Pers friends who run this event. This event can be held very well, professionally like PT LIB," said Arya Sinulingga.

"Hopefully next year it will be longer, not just a tournament. How many groups will be fun. So, it's long, don't just play once and continue to finish. If possible, half the competition or full competition," he said again.

The Mandiri Media Cup 2024 peak party was also witnessed directly by Bank Mandiri Executive Vice President, Teuku Ali Usman, Exco PSSI Member, Arya Sinulingga, Secretary General of NOC Indonesia, Wijaya Noeradi, and Head of the Public Relations and General Bureau of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ferry Hadju.

Then, also present were CEO Erspo, Muhammad Sadad, President of PSBS Biak, Owen Rahadian, President of Persibo Bojonegoro, Deddy Adriyanto, and President Director of ASIOP, Ade Prima Syarif.
