JAKARTA The Indonesian U-16 Futsal National Team will take part in the 2024 AFF Futsal Cup in Thailand which will take place from 2-10 November 2024.
The Garuda Muda squad will depart for Thailand on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. They departed early to continue the training camp in the host country.
Chairman (Ketum) of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI), Michael Sianipar, said that the Indonesian national team had previously undergone a two-month training camp in the country.
"We will have a training camp in Thailand for a week. We have also scheduled friendly matches with local clubs there before competing in the AFF Cup," Michael said.
The Indonesian U-16 Futsal national team was released by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo, at the Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) on Monday, October 21, 2024.
