Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: Persija Win Against 9 PSIS Players

JAKARTA - Liga 1 2024/2025 is back on track after the international break. PSIS Semarang hosted Persija Jakarta at the Madya Magelang Stadium in the eighth week, Thursday, October 17, 2024, evening WIB.

The Kemayoran Tigers, who acted as guests, managed to steal three points after winning 2-0.

In the first half, Persija was able to play more pressing even without three players who had just returned to defend the Indonesian national team.

Profits for the Kemayoran Tigers came in the 20th minute when the PSIS goalkeeper, Adi Satryo, received a direct red card.

The advantage of the number of players made Persija more aggressively confine PSIS. The pressure after pressure finally paid off in the 24th minute through Maciej Gajos' free kick. The 1-0 score then closed the first half.

Shifting to the second half, the situation did not change much. PSIS remains under Persija's pressure.
