Indonesian National Team Players Have Returned To The Club

The Indonesian national team will gather again in mid-November 2024 (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team arrived in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 20.45 WIB after traveling from Qingdao, China.

Shin Tae-young's team departed at 08.30 WIB and had transited in South Korea before landing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

After arriving in Jakarta, the players who appeared in the domestic league stayed overnight and only left for the destination city of their respective clubs on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

However, players competing abroad, such as Europe, South Korea, and Thailand, went straight to their respective countries from China.

The manager of the Indonesian national team, Sumardji, stated that all players were in good health.

"Alhamdulillah, all of them are healthy and safe as well as the players who returned to their clubs in Europe, South Korea and Thailand."

"On Wednesday morning and Tuesday night, they went straight to their respective clubs," said Sumardji at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

The Indonesian national team has just finished two away matches in Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

On October 10, 2024, they drew 2-2 against Bahrain at the Bahrain National Stadium.

Then, the Garuda Squad went straight to Qingdao to face China. On October 15, 2024, the Indonesian national team lost 1-2.

This year, the Indonesian national team still has two home games. They will host Japan on November 15, 2024, and Saudi Arabia on November 19, 2024 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

Judging from the agenda, the Indonesian national team is scheduled to reunite in mid-November 2024 for a training camp.
