President Brajamusti Apologizes For PSIM Supporter Incident At Mandala Krida

YOGYAKARTA - President of Brajamusti, Muslich Burhanuddin 'Thole', apologized for the incident that occurred in the PSIM Yogyakarta match against Persijap Jepara. The incident caused PSIM to be subject to a fine of Rp. 25 million by PSSI. The fine was imposed due to disciplinary violations, including supporters who entered the field and the throwing of drinking water bottles at the Mandala Krida Stadium.

"I, as President of Brajamusti, apologize for the incident. Even though we are disappointed with the results of the match, there are rules that we must obey. The actions of the supporters who entered the field and threw the bottles were not true. We hope that this incident will be the last and will be a concern for the entire Brajamusti family," said Thole on Wednesday (16/10/2024).

Thole emphasized that the Brajamusti Central Executive Board (DPP) had met with supporters involved in the incident and imposed strict sanctions. According to him, the supporters have admitted their mistakes and promised not to repeat their actions.

"We have given sanctions to the person concerned. Clarification has also been carried out, and the person concerned admits his mistake. We hope this will be a lesson so as not to harm our proud team," added Thole.

In addition, Thole appreciated other supporters who were not provoked and kept order during the match. Brajamusti has also apologized to the match organizing committee (Panpel), the police, and PSIM management regarding the incident.

"I appreciate my friends who remain calm and do not join the field. Even though they are both disappointed, we must be able to respond to the results of the match more maturely. We have also apologized to Panpel, the police, and management for this incident. Hopefully, this will be the last lesson for all of us, "he explained.

Regarding the PSIM match against Persiku Kudus which will take place on October 20, 2024 at Weergu Wetan Kudus Stadium, Thole appealed to all Brajamusti supporters not to attend the stadium, in accordance with the decision of Panpel Persiku Kudus which prohibited the presence of guest team supporters.

"We convey this appeal to respect Persikasu's Panpel decision and maintain good relations with Kudus supporters. We hope that all members of Brajamusti can obey this appeal for the good name of PSIM Yogyakarta," concluded Thole.
