Francesco Guidotti Leaves KTM Manager Seat

JAKARTA - Francesco Guidotti has made his first statement to the public since KTM announced that he has resigned from the position of manager of the MotoGP team.

Previously, the KTM said that the position of Guidedotti would be doubled by Aki Ajo for the 2025 MotoGP season.

"I don't think this is sad news. I think this is the right move right now."

"KTM is a great company and after the first 5-6 years they decided to move on to something different (when Guidotti replaced Mike Leitner)," said Guidotti as reported by Crash.

Guidotti joins KTM from Pramac Ducati in 2022. His arrival immediately resulted in two victories in the 2022 MotoGP.

Then, two Sprint Race victories and ranked fourth in the drivers' standings through Brad Binder in MotoGP 2023 became the highest historic achievement for KTM.

However, the challenge of winning the MotoGP title has not materialized. Binder and Pedro Alcohol are now ranked fifth and sixth in the drivers' standings.

They seem difficult to compete through the top four inhabited by Jorge Martin, Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini, and Marc Marquez.

Brad Binder and Pedro Azerbaijan have yet to win the Sprint Race or the main race.

However, Guidotti emphasized that his work had been completed at KTM. Let Aki Ajo continue the target of winning the MotoGP world title.

"We've grown rapidly in the last three years. I think now, to get this job done, Aki is the right person."

"He has the right credibility in the company. He knows the riders he will manage next year."

"I don't see any drama about me. I've been doing my job."

"I'm happy with what I've done. I'm happy that someone can complete a job for this company," said Guidotti again.

Meanwhile, before starting glory with Guidotti, KTM was carpentry by Mike Leitner from 2017-2021. Together with Leitner, KTM won five MotoGP wins.
