Wild Speculation Of Social Media, Rice Give Vape To Calafiori In The Middle Of Arsenal Vs PSG Match

JAKARTA - Arsenal managed to secure three points after beating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, early morning WIB.

After busy talking about the Gunners' victory at home, social media was boisterous with the moment between Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori.

The video clip of the incident broke out. Seen in the second half Calafori was in the process of getting a yellow card after a dispute with Fabian Ruiz.

When the referee Slavko caught a yellow card, Rice appeared and gave an object to Calafiori.

Calafiori then walked away from the referee while it was like smoking the object.

Various wild speculations immediately flooded commented on the short video on social media X.

However, not a few netizens also gave the opinion that it was not vape. They said that what Calafori smoked was an energy gel.

The energy gel is designed to provide an instant energy boost and there are no rules that prohibit it during matches.

Apart from that, Rice and Calafiori performed brilliantly when Arsenal won 2-0 in the second match of the 2024/2025 Champions League.

Goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka in the first half gave the Gunners a comfortable win.
