JAKARTA - Manchester United legend Gordon McQueen left a huge amount of property for his family after suffering a tragic death in June 2023.

McQueen died at the age of 70 after battling dimensional diseases since 2021. The legend of the Red Devils in the 1970s had the disease allegedly caused by a spherical header.

After his departure, the defender left about 320,000 pounds plus a house worth 400,000 pounds distributed to his children.

The will document reveals that his property is worth 326,272 pounds. Then, the house worth 400,000 pounds is where McQueen and his wife, Yvonne, live until the end of their lives located at Shagson Rudby, Yorks.

The document appoints Yvonne and their three children, Hayley, Anna Forbes, and Edward McQueen as the executor of their will.

The four of them will share their wealth and the proceeds from each home sale. They also reportedly sold some of McQueen's memories, including medals and trophies.

Gordon McQueen appeared more than 300 times for Manchester United and Leeds United and played 30 times for the Scottish national team.

McQueen started her career at St Mirren before moving to Leeds. While in Yorkshire, he played with the club's great players, including Billy Bremner, Johnny totaling, and Norman Hunter.

He also performed under legendary manager Don Revie, in Leeds, who won the league in 1974.

The Scottish player then joined Manchester United in 1978 and appeared 184 times by contributing to the FA Cup title in 1983.

McQueen has also tasted two runners-up in the FA Cup, namely in 1975 and 1979. He was also selected twice in the PFA Team.

He made 30 appearances for Scotland and was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
