JAKARTA - Candidate for naturalization player, Eliano Reinjders, said that he promised to help the Indonesian national team get points in the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.

This was expressed by Eliano as an expression of joy even though so far the naturalization has not been fully completed.

So far, Eliano's naturalization process has been approved by the DPR RI Plenary Session on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He is just waiting for the Ministry of State Affairs to obtain President Joko Widodo's Decree.

The path of citizenship is also as planned. If on Friday, September 20, 2024, the Presidential Decree is issued, Eliano and Mees Hilgers can take the oath of Indonesian citizens in the Netherlands on Sunday, September 22, 2024, local time as scheduled.

Eliano Reindjers' presence in the Garuda Squad is indeed projected to increase strength in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian Zone.

In the nearest match, the Indonesian national team will face Bahrain and China on October 10 and 15, 2024.
