Schedule Of The 2024 PON: Seven Golds Are Seized On The Third Day

JAKARTA - Swimmers from various provinces in the country will return to compete on the third day of the XXI/2024 Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) competition in the Selayang Swimming Pool, Medan, Monday.

On this day, the athletes will compete for seven gold medals in the afternoon. The race will start in the morning with the preliminary round. Then the final match will continue in the afternoon.

The contested numbers include 100 meters of men's and women's butterfly, 50 meters of men's and women's backstroke, 200 meters of men's and women's breaststroke, and 4x100 meters of women's relay freestyle.

So far, DKI Jakarta is still leading the medal standings for swimming with five gold, two silver, seven bronze.

East Java was in second place with three gold, five silver, and two bronze. Then West Java was in third place by collecting one gold, four silver, and two bronze.

Central Sulawesi is below it with one gold, one silver, and two bronze. Then Papua with one gold and one silver. Bali and North Sumatra have one gold medal each.
