Waiting For The Duel Of Anthony Joshua And Tyson Fury

JAKARTA The possibility of clashes between two well-known British fighters, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, remains open. The duel between the two continues to be eagerly awaited by boxing sports fans.

Todd DuBoef, President of Promoter Fury at Top Rank, United States, believes that the event that brings the two names together must have occurred, especially after their duels this year.

"I always feel that Anthony Joshua and Tyson Tyson will fight at some point (after) winning, losing, or whatever (the result later)," Todd said as quoted by Sky Sport.

In boxing history, these two big names have not met at all. Their achievements in winning several important belts made their duels continue to be pushed to be held.

Todd said that these two fighters had to get in the ring to face each other. He believes their fight will definitely attract great attention.

"I think they both have a large fan base. They both come from a beautiful country with history. I feel like they will fight someday," he said.

Joshua is scheduled to board the ring on September 21, 2024, nearest Wembley Stadium to fight his fellow organizer Daniel Dubois. This clash will fight for the IBF heavyweight title.

The 34-year-old boxer last climbed up against UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in March 2024. At that time Joshua hit his opponent's knockout to win this cross-disciplinary duel.

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury is likely to fight in December 2024 against Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk. He will try to reclaim the WBO, WBA, and WBC belts in the rematch.

Against Usyk was Fury's last duel. In the clash over the undisputed heavyweight title in May 2024, Fury lost points in 12 rounds.
