Shin Tae-yong targets the Indonesian national team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi).

Currently, the Indonesian national team is struggling in the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone.

"Preparing the Third Round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and the 2024 AFF Cup. Our goal is to make the 2026 World Cup my number one goal," Shin wrote accompanying the upload.

With this big target, Shin then asked the Indonesian people for full support so that the target could be achieved.

The reason is, so far the support of the Indonesian national team supporters is considered by the coach to be an extraordinary boost.

In the Third Round of 2026 World Cup Qualification for the period September 2024, the Indonesian national team will face Saudi Arabia (September 5, 2024) followed by a home match against Australia (September 10, 2024).
