Presidential Cup 2024 Distribution

Arema came out as the winner of the 2024 Presidential Cup.

JAKARTA - The 2024 President's Cup has been completed. Arema FC came out as the champion after defeating Borneo FC Samarinda in the final match at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Singo Edan won on penalties with a score of 5-4 after normal time ended 1-1.

The achievement is Arema's fourth title in the President's Cup. Singo Edan established himself as the most successful team in this pre-season event.

Previously, they had won the 2017, 2019, and 2022 editions of the President's Cup.

Meanwhile, the meeting with Borneo FC in the presidential Cup final was the second time in the history of the pre-season tournament since 2015.

Arema vs Borneo's first encounter occurred in the top party of the second edition of the President's Cup in 2017. At that time, Singo Edan won with a landslide score of 5-1.

In addition to the title won by Arema FC, several individual awards were also awarded by the 2024 Presidential Cup Organizing Committee.

Charles Lokolingoy was selected as the Best Player of the 2024 President's Cup. He played well throughout this pre-season tournament. In fact, Lokolingoy was also able to collect three goals, one goal in the group stage and two goals in the semifinals.

Lokolingoy continued the achievements achieved by Adam Alis, Hamka Hamzah, and Adilson Maringa for Arema when they won the previous three editions.

Apart from Lokolingoy, another Singo Edan player who received an individual award was Arkhan Fikri. This young midfielder from North Sumatra was named the Best Young Player.

While the 2024 President's Cup Top Score title was awarded to Persis Solo striker, Ramadhan Sananta. Although the number of goals is the same as Lokolingoy and Leo Gaucho, which are three goals, Sananta has less playing minutes.

In addition, the 2024 President's Cup gives awards to field justices. The best referee fell to Yudi Nurcahya from Kembang City, Bandung.
