List Of Proliga 2024 Awards: Megawati Wins Best Player Title

JAKARTA - The 2024 Proliga Competition was completed after the final brought together Jakarta BIN against Jakarta Electric PLN. After the final match, a number of names were announced that won awards in several categories.

Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi, who is a Jakarta BIN player, has won the title as the best player or most variable player (MVP) for the 2024 Proliga.

Prior to the MVP announcement, the first category announced was the player with the best serve. Outside the Electric PLN hitter, Marina Markova was chosen as the winner in that category.

PLN still contributes the best players through best libero given to Eris Septia. Tisya Amalya Putri also got the best setter.

Outside hitter Popsivo Madison Kingdon became the best spiker.

Meanwhile, BIN Kara Bajema's Jakarta hitter was chosen as the best middle blocker.

Madison Kingdon won the second award by being the top scorer for the 2024 Proliga.

This top score award has become a controversy among fans.

The reason is, Irina Voronkova is considered more worthy of being a topscor based on the calculation of points for one season.

Meanwhile, the organizers determine the top score based on the acquisition of points since the final four.

BIN coach Danai Sriwatcharamethakul was selected as the best coach of the season.

Of all the categories of the best players, each winner gets an award and a total prize of IDR 10 million.
