JAKARTA - Several celebrities and netizens have uploaded photos of badminton black as a form of support and solidarity with the Indonesian badminton team which was forced to withdraw from the All England tournament.
The celebrity Instagram account of Raffi Ahmad and his wife Nagita Slavina, @raffinagita1717, shared the photo with his 50.9 million followers, Saturday night.
"After what happened to the Indonesian Badminton Team at All England 2021, let's show our support in solidarity by posting this on Instagram Story. Make sure to tag @bwf.official so they can hear us", said the caption of the photo, in English.
The upload also includes the hashtag #BWFMustBeResponsible which was trending when the Indonesian badminton team was asked to walk over from the All England last Thursday.
Apart from Raffi Nagita, actor Lukman Sardi also uploaded a photo of badminton black with the same caption on his Instagram account timeline, which was then reposted by host Jeffry Waworuntu.
Singer Rossa also uploaded the photo on Instagram Story.
