Referee Letexier Will Lead UEFA EURO 2024 Final

JAKARTA - The UEFA Referee Committee has announced that French LETexier will be the referee for the 2024 UEFA EURO final between Spain and the UK, which will be played on Sunday, July 14 at 21:00 CET at the Olympic Stadium, Berlin, Germany.

The 35-year-old French referee, who has been an international referee since 2017, has led 65 UEFA matches in his career. In this year's EURO final tournament, he has led three matches including a round of 16 match between Spain and Georgia as well as two Croatian group stage matches against Albania and Denmark against Serbia. He also acted as fourth official in the opening match between Germany and Scotland in Munich.

Last season, Letexier led ten UEFA club competition matches in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League and became the fourth official in the UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at Wembley. He also led the 2023 UEFA Super Cup between Manchester City and Sevilla in Piraeus, Greece.

Come on Letexier will be accompanied by French assistants Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni in Sunday's final, while Szymon Marciniak (Poland) will be the fourth official. The role of assistant video referees (VAR) has been given to J\'er{1}me Brisard (France), assisted by Willy Delajod (France) and supported by Masssimiliano Irrati (Italy). Tomasz Listkiewicz (Poland) complements the team's composition as a reserve referee assistant.
