Pole Position For Bagnaia At GP Assen, Marquez Falls, Vinales And Mart Berkilau

JAKARTA - Pecco Bagnaia managed to win pole position at the Assen MotoGP. This Italian racer broke his own record, recording the first pole since Malaysia 2023. Bagnaia showed high confidence using different tactics.

The conditions at Assen Saturday 29 June are ideal, without wind, with more sunlight than clouds, and a comfortable temperature: 20 degrees in the air and 37 degrees on the asphalt. This weather is perfect to break records.

In Q1, Pedrodeca is in the spotlight. This rookie shines in the third training session, even though Bezzecchi and RaZel FernZ had a hard accident. Both are fine and continue the race with only one motorbike available.

Askosta took the lead, but Di Giannantonio immediately beat them. The two of them entered the second half after changing tires. Meanwhile Fabio Quartararo, Bezzecchi, Oliveira, and Miller had to improve their time records.

Bezzecki had a bad day with an accident at turn 5, failing to qualify for Q2. Quartararo and Askosta are in tight competition, but Di Giannantonio managed to escape with Askosta. Failed drivers include Quartararo, Miller, Bezzecchi, Rins, Oliveira, and others.

In Q2, Tech3 mechanics worked hard to repair theACKo bike in order to participate. Marc Myhrquez tried to follow Bagnaia, but Binder was among them. Jorge Mart totaled 1108 on the initial lap, beating Bagnaia who recorded 1:31.0.

Bagnaia used her flagship strategy by starting the second session quickly, avoiding pursuers. He recorded a spectacular 110540 time, breaking Assen's best lap record.

Aleix Espargarter actually had problems with his Aprilia but managed to get back to the track. Marc Myhrquez tried to catch up, but fell at the turn of 7. Maverick Vinales escaped the yellow flag and was in third place, but Jorge Mart happened to beat Bagnaia, only 81 milliseconds adrift.

Bagnaia took pole position, followed by Mart totaling in second place and Vinales in third. Alex Marquez is in fourth place, and Aleix Espargaro is fifth. Marc Myhrquez had to settle for starting the race from seventh.
