JAKARTA - President Director (Director) of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), Ferry Paulus, officially ratified a new regulation regarding foreign players for Liga 1 2024/2025. Although he did not give rules regarding the origin of foreign player countries, Ferry Paulus explained that there are rules that the club must obey regarding foreign players while on the field.
Of the eight foreign players, only six players can take to the field or when playing together. The rest, must be on the bench.
If the foreign players who play must be replaced, the club is allowed to include foreign players as well. Therefore, these eight foreign players may be included in the line-up (DSP) list.
"Eight of them (foreign players) are in DSP and can play six. They are all free, all Asian or non-Asian."
