David Beckham Interested In Recruiting Raphael Varane To Inter Miami

JAKARTA - David Beckham is planning a new era 'Galcticos' at Inter Miami with a massive transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) next season.

One of the names that Beckham is targeting is former Manchester United defender and Real Madrid, Raphael Varane.

According to a report by The Mirror, the Inter Miami owner is planning to make an offer.

If so, Varane could join Inter Miami now even though the MLS transfer window will only open next month.

Varane is currently without a club, aka free transfer. He left Old Trafford at the end of the season after three years with the Red Devils.

He will join Barcelona legends Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba.

Not only Varane is included in Beckham's projection. Famous names such as Sergio Ramos and Sergi Roberto are also associated with moving to Inter Miami.

The new MLS transfer window opened on July 18, 2024. Varane could join as soon as possible because he is not affiliated with any club.

For a decade at Real Madrid, this French centre-back won three La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues, one Copa del Rey, three Spanish Super Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, and four Club World Cups.

Varane, who also won the World Cup title with France in 2018, moved to Manchester United in 2021 and lifted the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup in England.

However, he had to struggle with injury in recent seasons. Varane has only started in 16 Premier League matches for the 2023/24 season.

"It's been some incredible years to play for this special club and wear that shirt."
