Disappointment Of Liverpool Stars When Scotland Did Not Escape The Fall Phase Of Euro 2024

JAKARTA - Scotland will certainly fall in the group stage of Euro 2024 after losing to Hungary on Monday, June 24, 2024.

They only earned one point from three matches and lived the bottom of Group A.

Liverpool star who is also the Scottish captain, Andrew Robertson, could not hide his disappointment.

"To be honest there's nothing to say, we've given everything. Both teams have to win. We have chances, but that's football, that's how it is," Robertson said after the Scotland vs Hungary match.

The 30-year-old admitted meeting Scotland vs Hungary was a life-to-life game. Scotland have tried their best to take the lead, but their efforts failed.

"It's hard to speak honestly. I think everyone is giving their best. Goals are ultimately happening. I think the effort we're giving today shows fans and the country how much it means to us."

Scotland became the second team to fail to the knockout stages of Euro 2024. Previously, Poland had already lifted its suitcase because it had always lost in two Group D matches.

Victory against France in the group's last match will not make Poland move from the bottom of the standings.
