Carl Froze: Tyson Fury Vs Anthony Joshua Is A Duel Of Two Heroes

JAKARTA - The duel of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is highly anticipated by boxing fans around the world, although it is not yet clear when the agenda will take place.

You see, before designing the fight against Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury first played a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

The rematch was indeed included in Fury vs Usyk's clause when the two fought for the undisputed heavyweight world title on May 18, 2024.

Fury activated the rematch clause after losing against Usyk in the first clash.

However, the promoters have echoed another big fight between Fury vs Joshua. The duel is predicted to be very big and eagerly awaited by boxing fans.

The reason is, Fury and Joshua will fight for the prestige of who is the best in Great Britain.

However, this is not the case with Carl Frog's view, the manta of the super middleweight champion twice

But former super middleweight champion Carl Frog doesn't really care about British Battle much.

"I'm not surprised Fury activated the rematch clause, where else can he go? Anyone wants to see Fury and Anthony Joshua. They are two losers, right?"

"There are two losers fighting for second place," Froch said as quoted by The Sun.

Frog had reason to call the duel a battle of two losers. His comments were based on Fury's defeat to Usyk in the fight for the undisputed heavyweight world title.

According to him, had Fury won against Usyk last month, he would have really appreciated the match of Fury vs Anthony Joshua because there was a prestigious title held.

"It would be huge if Fury beat Usyk. However, now they are two losers. I'm not too excited about that," said Froch.

Furthermore, Froch emphasized that Fury must win in a rematch against Usyk so that the title of the loser he saved will fall.

"Fury has to try and fix the defeat to Usyk. I think he needs to improve that defeat if he wants to be remembered as the best fighter of his time."

"To be remembered as well as possible, he has to beat Usyk," said Froch again.

Meanwhile, Fury has shown his desire to fight successively with Joshua.

If he wins the next rematch and trilogy fight with Usyk, Froch believes he can beat Anthony Joshua.

"Fury-Usyk is a tough fight. So, I'm going to make Fury a favorite against AJ."

"What has AJ done since losing to Andy Ruiz? He had a comeback fight against an opponent who didn't want to be there with him."

"He lost twice to Usyk and he beat Ngannou in an exhibition. AJ was honored by the low-level opposition he was fighting."

"If Fury took part with AJ after that performance (won against Usyk in the rematch), I would make Fury a favorite," said Froch.

Apart from that, the Fury vs Usyk rematch will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on December 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua will return to the ring at the end of September 2024 in a domestic battle with IBF interim champion Daniel Dubois.
