Dybala And Her Lover Test Positive For COVID-19

JAKARTA - Juventus star from Argentina, Paolo Dybala was confirmed positive for the corona virus or COVID-19. Dybala's lover, Orianna Sabatin also experienced the same thing.

The 26-year-old attacker, tested last week and is currently in isolation at his home. However, Dybala admitted that he did not experience any symptoms.

"Hi everyone, I want to inform you that we have just received the Covid-19 test results. Oriana and I have tested positive," Dybala wrote on his Twitter account, Sunday, March 22.

He also thanked all those who have supported him. "Fortunately, we are in perfect condition. Thank you for the message you convey," said the former Palermo player.

The club, Juventus, also officially confirmed that Dybala was positive for COVID-19. Dybala is the third Juventus player to test positive for COVID-19.

"The player, on his own conscience, has been isolated at his home since March 11, we will continue to monitor him. He is well and has no symptoms," said an official Juventus statement.

Blaise Matuidi and Daniele Rugini are two other Juventus players who have previously tested positive for COVID-19.

Serie A is the first major European league to decide to temporarily suspend the competition this season which previously had several matches played in stadiums without spectators.

Italy currently ranks first in the number of deaths from COVID-19. As of Sunday, March 22 this morning, the number of deaths in Italy was 4,825, exceeding China's death toll of 3,255.
