Men's Doubles Fajar Rian Only Wins Runner Up Position At Singapore Open 2024

Indonesian men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto had to settle for bringing home the BWF Super 750 Singapore Open 2024 tournament runner-up after losing to the Chinese pair He Ji Ting/Ren Xiang Yu on Sunday.

Fajar/Rian lost to He/Ren through two straight games 19-21, 14-21 in the 40-minute final match, which was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The first game went quite tough for the two pairs who were constantly putting pressure on each other at their first meeting today.

The number was fiercely adrift with Fajar/Rian and He/Ren at the beginning of the first game, before in the middle of the game, the Chinese representatives were up to five points.

The Indonesian pair, who are the seventh seed, did not immediately lose focus and continued to pursue numbers and penetrate solid defense from He/Ren.
