Masvidal Furious Heard McGregor Boast

JAKARTA - ESPN recently produced an infographic detailing battle options labeled 'big money' in 2020. This fight involved fighters such as Conor McGregor, Jorge Masvidal, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson, Kamaru Usman and others.

Seeing this possibility, the former second division champion McGregor responded on social media and claimed he was willing to fight anyone on the list.

"I'm going to fight whoever's on that list," McGregor tweeted.

I'll go at anyone on that list.

Masdival then responded to the statement 'The Notoriuous' with words that described anger.

"Put your money where your mouth is," Masvidal wrote. "I'm the only one who's No. 1."

This was not the first sale and purchase of words that took place between them. US fighter Masvidal started a 'war' with McGregor after defeating Nate Diaz in early November. Masvidal looks at McGregor as his next opponent, and calls the Irish fighter a little man.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Masvidal challenged McGregor. "You know what I'm going to do to the little man, I'm going to dirty the little man. He's a f ****** midget !," Masvidal said as reported by the Daily Mail.

McGregor then responded to Masvidal's words with a tweet on Twitter referring to Masvidal's remarks after fighting with Leon Edwards earlier this year.

Dana White initially dismissed the idea of a possible battle between the two, saying Masvidal was too big for McGregor. Firas Zahabi also provided his analysis of a possible fight, and appeared to agree with the UFC President. According to the famous coach, while McGregor might just be the best hitter in the UFC, everyone now knows what he's going to do and it will be a "Masvidal show" after two innings.

McGregor has not returned to the Octagon since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, but he recently confirmed he will return to the main stage on January 18 in Las Vegas. However, it has not been stated who the opponent will be.
