JAKARTA The Ciputra Golfpreneur World Junior Championship (CGWJC) junior golf world championship will be held at Damai Indah Golf Course, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) on June 12-14. This championship is a collaboration between Ciputra Golf and Bank Mandiri.

The championship, which is the 27th edition, will be attended by dozens of golfers from within and outside the country. Since it was first held in 1993, this championship has developed and is recognized as a world-class junior golf competition. In 2007 this event began to be attended by participants from five continents.

Some of the CGWJC participants who are now participating in the LPGA Tour include: Nasa Hataoka and Yuka Saso from Japan, and Patty Tavatanakit from Thailand. Indonesian talent which then developed in international golf competitions include: Inez Wanamarta and Patricia Sinolungan.

In the 2023 CGJWC tournament, Thailand's two golfers, Sucichaya Vinijchaitham and Parin Sarasmut, won Best Gross Overall, respectively with a total score of 7-under 209 and 12-under 204. Host golfer Teuku Husein M. Danindra (Boys B), Elaine Widjaja (Girls A), andprile Leimena (Girls C) won their respective categories.

This year, the winner of Bank Mandiri CGJWC has the opportunity to participate in a number of international prestigious championships. The championships include the World Cup Invitations at Kingsmill in July 2024i, the Thai AJGA in November 2024, and the 2025 FCG Callaway World Championship.

The men's Best Gross Overall have the right to participate in the Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament, which is the Asian Development Tour, and will be held in August 2024.
