Tyson Fury Has Landed In Saudi Arabia Ahead Of The Duel Against Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury has arrived in Saudi Arabia (Instagram/@tysonfury).

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury is scheduled to face Oleksandr Usyk in the undisputed heavyweight title fight on May 18, 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

He and his entourage landed in Saudi Arabia last weekend to make final preparations.

Fury's group consisted of family, friends, and of course coach SugarHill Steward. They were greeted with bouquets of flowers after a seven-hour flight from England.

Apart from that, according to former cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson, Fury is expected to use the 'rotting trick' to beat Usyk.

"Tyson is a fighter. As soon as the bell rang he would try everything he could until the referee forbade him."

"Will he use every dirty trick he can do? No doubt."

"This is a game in a fight. Most fighters when they get in there, they play according to the rules."

"When they got a low or elbowed shot, they complained to the referee and then complaining they were beaten," Nelson told Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Fury has three months to recover from a temple injury. In fact, the Fury vs Usyk duel is scheduled for February 17, 2024.

However, Fury suffered a serious injury to his temple while doing training matches a few days before the fight.
