England Vs Brazil 0-1, Endrik Felipe Successfully Break Ronaldo's Record

JAKARTA - A 17-year-old player, Endrick Felipe scored his first international goal for the Samba team, as well as leading Brazil to a narrow 1-0 win against England, in a friendly match at Wembley Stadium, England, Saturday, March 23 local time or Sunday, March 24 in the morning WIB.

17 years old and 246 days old, Endrick is the youngest international goalscorer at senior level in a match at Wembley. Endrick has also been the youngest player to score for Brazil since Ronaldo in 1994.

The forward Palmeiras, who will join Real Madrid in July, is predicted to replace Neymar as Brazil's newest superstar.

Endrick stole the show in the 80th minute when the teenager took advantage of Vinicius Junior's throwing ball which was parried by Jordan Pickford. The Briton had launched a protest for judging Endrick to be in an offside position.

In that match, despite playing at home to opponents, Brazil managed to create the first chance in the match in the 10th minute, through Rodrygo's kick. The Ipaya was captured by England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The next threat came from Vinicius Junior in the 12th minute. A through ball from Lucas Paqueta was received by Vinicius, but the completion of the Real Madrid player did not result in a goal.

Brazil almost opened the scoring in the 35th minute, had Paqueta's shot not hit the post. England responded with threats through Anthony Gordon's stab in the 41st minute, unfortunately his shot was cleared by Brazilian goalkeeper Bento.

In the 64th minute, Paqueta again threatened England with a volley, but it was still narrowly wide to the left of the goal. Endrick's goal became the only goal in the match.

After going through their worst period of more than 60 years, Brazil hopes that Dorival Junior can trigger their revival to keep Brazil's hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. While Britain is preparing to face Euro 2024 which will take place in Germany.
